Magnet of Chaos is a solo musical comedy show about the end of the world, becoming your breast self, and Jennifer Coolidge…as god. An asteroid is heading towards Earth and Sarah realizes that she is the reason for it. She embarks on a journey of self discovery to figure out why she is a magnet of chaos with the help of her Greek Chorus…Jennifer Coolidge & United States Senator, Bernie Sanders. Magnet of Chaos can best be described as a frenetic Wizard of Oz-style journey to vulnerability and radical self acceptance. In other words… It’s like the film, “Inception” but with a feminist, absurdist, pop culture oriented, musical comedy twist.
Sarah Rachel Lazarus(Performer, Writer, Producer) is a comedy artist, actor, writer, and producer. She has performed and hosted shows all around the country at venues like The Dynasty Typewriter, The Bell House, City Winery, The Elysian, etc. Aside from her shows being featured in Timeout NY & LA’s “Top Things to Do,” Jennifer Coolidge attended one of her “Jennifer Coolidge” themed shows and dubbed the show and her impression as “better than her.” She has contributed content to Funny or Die, Whohaha, and the Broadway Beat. She has interviewed a number of celebrity guests for her podcast ‘The Era of Sarah’ including Bob The Drag Queen, Carole Baskin, and Brittany Broski.
