Great humor in the writing. The pace of the developing friendship was believable. The lack of sexual tension was refreshing. Loved the gradual relaxing of the germaphobe.
What I didn't like
You might consider moving the elevator back a foot or two. Unless you’re in the front row, some of the seated parts are obscured by audience heads. And a little more in terms of elevator sounds along the way to keep us in the implied space.
Not that Kamar wasn’t great in the role, but the interrogation scene would be more powerful if it were just Sam, alone in the chair under a bright light as she’s questioned by a recorded voice.
My overall impression
Forced proximity forges strangers into friends before our eyes in the most uncomfortable of shared experiences – and a twist I didn’t see coming. Great writing, complex characters, and understated performances from Jonah Weiland and Sam Ciavarella. You’ll still be thinking about it the next day.
