My overall impression

What a performance! Jeannette Rizzi takes us through the universal traumas of growing up “different” as an Italian in a redneck town. Her journey from an abused teenager, to a strong confident woman gives everyone hope. The tragedy of her best friend’s suicide is one that we all can relate to, and seeing how she has used the pain to create such a jubilant piece of theater makes this a wonderful and entertaining evening!
