I did not know what to expect. I was so impressed with the different emotions I felt. Sometimes I would be crying and laughing at the same time. It is a true story that has a real lesson. A one-woman show about the effects of teen suicide doesn’t sound like a rip-roaring night out by any accounts, but Jeanette Rizzi’s ‘Blindsided’ manages to straddle the line between funny and tragic with a grace unexpected. What a performance! Jeannette Rizzi takes us through the universal traumas of growing up "different" as an Italian in a redneck town. Her journey from an abused teenager, to a strong confident woman gives everyone hope. The tragedy of her best friend's suicide is one that we all can relate to, and seeing how she has used the pain to create such a jubilant piece of theater makes this a wonderful and entertaining evening! ... full review

Absolutely amazing one woman show. Every moment is delivered perfectly. Jeannette finds the perfect balance to deliver such a tough subject in a respectful, relatable, educational, hilarious way. The characters, the voices, and the stories, kept me involved and entertained from the start to the end. I laughed, I cried, and I related to Jeannette’s story on so many different levels.
