What I liked
The Houdini trick ending in her pants being pulled down is truly one of my favorite physical bits I’ve ever seen. And I loveeeed when el mago goes to space. Need more of that.
What I didn't like
Mr. Booker seems pretty crazy — maybe Hollywood’s too much for that guy.
My overall impression
This show felt like watching one of the greats at Woodstock, and we should all be so lucky to have witnessed Linzy Beltran before she inevitably becomes a superstar. Linzy’s energy and total command of a big, packed crowd is a testament to both who she is as a person, and her outrageous clown. The hour went by too quickly, I never wanted El Mago’s hijinks to end. One of my favorites of the fest.
