Linzy Beltran displays a mastery of craft. Her character’s unbridled confidence made the audience feel tightly buckled in as we went along for her ride. We were in the palm of her hand for the entire show.
What I didn't like
She is beyond the learning stages. She is a professional through and through. She needs to quit her day job, if she has one. Not one single note.
My overall impression
Linzy Beltran had a stunning command of the audience like I’ve very rarely seen before on a professional stage. She is cool, confident, and absolutely hilarious. Fringe can be a beautiful place for artists to learn and grow and explore, but Linzy is a total pro. Her clowning was exceptional; her comic timing could not have been more perfect; her crowd work was masterful; and her stage presence proves she is a natural-born performer. She spent her hour on the stage like she lived there, like it was her home — and she was so kind to invite us all in to stay for a while. Because oh what a beautiful home it was!
