everything!!!! the writing, the improvisation, the crowd work— it all worked.

My overall impression
El Mago Loco is LA clowning and heartfelt sincerity at its absolute best. Linzy has an incredible grasp on this character and created one of the funniest, silliest, and most moving shows I’ve seen in ages. There were so many brilliant moments, but watching El Mago struggle to escape the straitjacket had me doubled over with laughter. If you’re looking for a show that will leave your abs sore from laughing and leave you thinking— do yourself a favor and go see El Mago Loco.
