What I liked
Beltran’s clowning is incredible. She plays with each moment and heightens every opportunity for a laugh. She’s incredibly in-tune with the audience and lets them savor the moments they enjoy the most.
Every sound cue works incredibly. It’s a delight to see the El Mago Loco character embarrass himself at every opportunity.
What I didn't like
I loved the interactions with the parents being in the booth and would have loved to have even more sprinkled throughout the show.
My overall impression
Linzy Beltran has masterful command of the stage and keeps the audience laughing with a barrage of jokes and physical comedy. To me, there is no better vector for Beltran’s absurdist-style humor than this larger-than-life magician still wondering if this career was the right choice.
