I could watch Linzy as El Mago Loco all day. Her character is so clearly defined and so FUN and she brings you into her world immediately. It's full of clowning and great physical comedy, though it's balanced by cerebral and visceral descriptions of Linzy's personal experience growing up Latino with immigrant parents. ...

El Mago Loco is LA clowning and heartfelt sincerity at its absolute best. Linzy has an incredible grasp on this character and created one of the funniest, silliest, and most moving shows I’ve seen in ages. There were so many brilliant moments, but watching El Mago struggle to escape the straitjacket had me doubled over with laughter. If you’re looking for a show that will leave your abs sore from laughing and leave you thinking-- do yourself a favor and go see El Mago Loco....

Linzy Beltran has masterful command of the stage and keeps the audience laughing with a barrage of jokes and physical comedy. To me, there is no better vector for Beltran’s absurdist-style humor than this larger-than-life magician still wondering if this career was the right choice.

Linzy is such an incredible performer, and her show engaged the audience in so many fun and interesting ways. It felt like everyone was a part of it, which I really think helped communicate the message of the show and highlighted Linzy’s incredible charisma and crowd work....
