What I liked

What stood out most was the pacing: tight, deliberate, and reflective of the spiraling energy of a night out that starts fun and ends fractured. The performer’s acting was magnetic—shifting between vulnerability and bravado with precision. She carries the show with intensity, charisma, and an undercurrent of something raw and real. It’s not a comfortable ride, but it’s an honest one.

This is theatre that feels like a confession and a confrontation, both urgent and necessary.

What I didn't like

I wouldn’t have known if we weren’t told but this is work in progress and I can’t wait to see a completed version.

My overall impression

This one-woman show doesn’t ask for your attention—it grabs it by the throat. With sharp commentary on the synthetic highs of club life and the desperate search for authenticity, the piece confronts the glamorized chaos of drug-fueled nightlife with a bold, unflinching lens.
