What I liked
I can’t stop won’t stop raving about the music — Deegie was born for the stage! Cheers to her band and the editor of her nostalgic mix of television, film, and commercials that inundated millennials and women of any recent generation with the idea that a girl must grow up, get married (to a man), and make babies if she is to be happy and of value.
What I didn't like
Even with tech challenges, Deegie and her musicians pushed right on through (and had back-up options). Well done!
My overall impression
Deegie is at her absolute best and brightest when singing! Her soundtrack felt like it I might find the songs on the album of 10 THINGS I HATE ABOUT YOU or a similarly iconic turn-of-the-millennium film. She makes belting sound effortless — and as a singer, I can tell you that it is not.
