What I liked
I loved how expressive the acting was, every line delivery was flawless. The slideshows and props added so much to the context of the story in a “show-don’t-tell” way. The songwriting and music blended perfectly with the monologues!
What I didn't like
It could be a little hard to hear the lyrics at times due to microphone or levelling issues – the singing was amazing.
My overall impression
So inspiring! Exes the Musical had everything – laughter, tears and heartwarming moments. This was a story expressed so beautifully and cleverly.
