What I liked
Creative use of video (on screen and vintage tv monitor), with clips of pop culture throughout late 20th/early 21st century. This play explores the emerging sense of self of one young woman as she navigates relationships with men from childhood through her teens and into adulthood. Poppy, original music performed throughout. A fun, musical journey through personal storytelling.

My overall impression
Pop rollercoaster ride through the early aughts, we revisit a string of Deegie’s ex boyfriends. Performance was backed by a live band and powered by passionate vocals and original music.
