What I liked

Blackout is an enlightening journey of self discovery and acceptance, and it reminded me of Alice in Wonderland.

The rhythm and pace. This show does not drag and gets right to the point.

Characters. The cast of characters in Blackout are well developed and guide Mary Lynn in a diverse, distinct and funny way that is not over the top. Each character brings a unique perspective that enables the Mary Lynn to not just open the door but to walk through it.

What I didn't like

Nothing.

My overall impression

Blackout – No Hard Feelings is hilariously entertaining! Kerri Van Auken’s portrayal of Mary Lynn as someone in arrested development is identifiable. She is a strong comedic actress with impeccable timing.
As someone who comes from a large family I felt a strong connection to Mary Lynn and her need for acceptance. Living up to the expectations of others is not easy until you realize you don’t have to. Blackout shows us that.
