It was funny. Heartbreaking. Political. I especially liked the various ways he spoke to mothers and advised them, using Nancy as perhaps among the worst of mothers. The musical theater bits and digs were really sharp!
What I didn't like
Sitting in the audience and talking about how nobody wants to grow up or die to be an audience member (and breaking the fourth wall) was a really interesting and bold move. Maybe shorter? Tighter? Come to a whiz-bang-pow ending that sticks?
The artist knows best.
My overall impression
Beautifully constructed, acted, written and done. Seamus Mulcahy is the real deal. Easy to connect with and love.
