The performance by Seamus Mulcahey is a master class in acting. He takes center stage and never lets go, no matter what trouble Nancy is causing or what calls she is ignoring from Rock Hudson. Mulcahey gives a tremendous, honest performance. The images onstage are arresting, the laughs constant and it is not exposition. He is a real performer’s performer. My favorite parts was musical theater as a just say no drug.
What I didn't like
Loved it
My overall impression
I couldn’t stop laughing. As the title suggests, it was historic, gay and a clown show. The guy behind me laughed every breath he took. It is absurd, interesting and brave. And GAY! Wonderful and joyful and GAY! Nancy would hate it, except she would love it, because it is about her.
