I loved Mulcahy’s dynamic, playful, reverently irreverent style. His physical & comedic specificity infused nuances into the role & the work, stretching & etching out the metaphysical tapestry before us.
What I didn't like
I felt a touch unclear about where the show was landing when Seamus was in the aisle towards the end. But I loved the temperature shift, and his performance in that moment. It felt like the right move, I just lost the narrative lens on it. (Could very well be all my fault! ;)
My overall impression
This piece was a wildly inventive, utterly delightful fever dream.
