What I liked

The characters were all hilarious, unique, and fun to interact with! I was able to establish a good rapport and a few running gags with several of the characters, and I really felt that I had an impact of how their storylines resolved. I also liked the concept of Bang Bucks and the hilarious ways they can impact the story. I got a little dopamine rush each time I earned more $$$.

What I didn't like

It never really felt like a parody to me, especially with some of the darker themes that it explores. Even though some of the characters were ridiculous, their antics felt solidly within the realm of actual reality television.

While I love the idea of promoting other Fringe shows, I felt that making us sit down and watch advertisements mid-show took away from the experience a bit. Maybe I tried to bite off more than I could chew, but I already felt pressed for time and this just made me feel more anxious about being able to find love for my single by the end of the show while still managing to keep track of everything else going on. (Or maybe I’m just too used to watching Love Island on Hulu without ads lol).

My overall impression

I had a great time! There are so many activities to do and such a well-developed world to explore. Definitely try to catch it more than once if you can!
