What I liked
If you wanted to see one person showcase every performance-based talent they have in a single show, this would be the one. Rachel gives us every voice in her bag of tricks and provides humor ranging from cerebral layers of subconscious understanding to belly-laugh dick jokes. And there’s of course a musical number with a perfectly placed audio-visual gag that is sure to be a crowd favorite.
What I didn't like
I didn’t need the Oz-inspired framework of the show with the fantastical projected backdrops; the story itself is compelling enough to not need a device to hide it in.
My overall impression
About as high energy and eclectic as you can get with one person onstage. Rachel Redleaf boldly takes on the responsibilities of entertainer, storyteller, and voice of reason equally.
