What I liked

I liked the honest portrayal of creative people who struggle with the day-to-day realities of paying the bills, while still vigorously & successfully pursuing their dreams.
Makes all creatives and storytellers feel better knowing they are not alone in this game we call life.
JR Rubinger’s book, lyrics & music worked well together to present this compelling story.
JR Rubinger’s portrayal of Curtis also gave us a character we all just love to hate.
Lia Peros’ Mona was likable, and she was convincing as the voice of reason, or Adult In The Room.
Lindsay Zana’s performance as Liz was bright and victorious, as we watched her struggle & finally rise above nepotism & corporate corruption to achieve her goals.

What I didn't like

It’s a little hard to find something that didn’t work, but here goes.
Instead of having the swing/understudy lip syncing to the songs sung by the CEO character, just mic him up, & allow him to sing “live” with everyone else.

My overall impression

Thank you for the original concept, fresh content, and spirited entertainers who made this show SO easy & fun to watch.
Step right up for this summer’s hottest new feel good musical!
