Not Without Right! Amazing! Forget what you think you know about William Shakespeare and immerse yourself in this ultra rich, poignant, captivating and funny history of WILL Shakespeare debating with his Muse on the true stories of his life. Alissandra Mañón is beautifully engaging as Will's muse and equally intriguing as she changes roles like a chameleon before our eyes. Colin Cox as "Will" brings humanity and great ease to the role making the audience feel as if they actually know and understand the great writer, producer and even leather maker himself. This is a must see bringing reality to a great character we all know and love....

"To thine own self be true..." has never been rung more clearly and truthfully than in the very works of the man who coined the phrase: William Shakespeare. "Not Without Right" is a thorough text analysis and character study of Shakepeare as a man, writer, and artist utilizing the whole of his text as a means of proving that the Complete Works could not have been written by any other person other than himself. Add in a Greek Muse to bounce off of and breathe new life to text in ways that one would never think of and help further prove Will is who he says he is in his writing, Colin Cox and Alessandra Manon put on a master class on the nature of truth, what it means to pursue a dream, and how art can only be created by someone pouring their v...

I found the show to be very intelligently written and to be an engaging experience throughout. Though I am no expert on Shakespeare, I did not feel that this was an impediment to enjoying the show. In fact, I feel that all audiences could find a little something just for them in the show. Even more so, I felt that I learned a thing or two, and it reignited my excitement for Shakespeare. Would definitely see again....

Too Hip for the Room (?)---or not?
If you're steeped in Shakespeare when you walk into this show (9x,all@905Cole, all@ 9pm Fridays and Saturdays) you're rightly ready for Colin Cox to smother you in Style with his folksy tales of The Bard. If NOT, beware!---after 75 minutes I would rather have Read and Studied the dense Text than to have it performed AT me FASTER and LOUDER than a 50-seat house can support! (Maybe not: preview seats= mostly filled.) Seems to me to be Too Hip For The Room and (is it possible?) Too Sophisticated for unindoctrinated Fringe audiences too!. ...
