I felt like the acting was unmatched. The evolution from an empty stage littered with clothes to a wardrobe that would paint the picture of Shakespeare’s life and those who influenced him was a truly exciting experience.
What I didn't like
The show doesn’t necessarily hold your hand throughout, but in the same token, I personally enjoy shows that by their very nature ask the audience to remain engaged.
My overall impression
I found the show to be very intelligently written and to be an engaging experience throughout. Though I am no expert on Shakespeare, I did not feel that this was an impediment to enjoying the show. In fact, I feel that all audiences could find a little something just for them in the show. Even more so, I felt that I learned a thing or two, and it reignited my excitement for Shakespeare. Would definitely see again.
