What I liked
I liked that she eventually came around to a point. It made it feel like the messing around with the middle section was worth it by the conclusion of the thesis.
What I didn't like
I wish Maddie had written out the first idea she had about the little girl. That character was fun.
Also the show I saw was 26 minutes, not 15. So if you look in your guide and think you can get to another show in time, count on spending half an hour with Maddie.
My overall impression
This is very much a work in progress.
While there isn’t much substance or narrative here, Maddie is pretty damned charming and that makes up for a lot.
