What I liked

Dark Humor, high energy, hilarious/creative use of props/puppets, actors commitment to their roles, comedic writing, audience engagement, unpredictable ending

What I didn't like

Narration was hard to hear/understand at times. The last scene was a bit unclear at first but eventually you’ll get it. :-)

My overall impression

I was thoroughly entertained by this creative, campy, high energy show that doesn’t take itself too seriously but clearly shows the seriousness taken by the writer to engage the audience, use props creatively, utilize the entire stage, and tackle tough topics using humor. The show plays on stereotypes – “the joke is on the cliches” – so you feel free to laugh even when uncomfortable. And laugh you will at these two “heroes” who try to save the world while also trying to kill each other. The audience laughed out loud a lot during this show and for obvious reasons. The puppet show is hilarious. The scene with the keyboard music is very funny too. There are movie references if you know what to look/listen for. Actors have great chemistry/energy and story moves quickly with lots of clever word play. Glad I was there to witness these talented people bring it all together!
