What a fun, silly romp through the end of the world! Great use of a small ensemble and plenty of imaginative stage transitions and sequences. Never takes itself too seriously, making sure the audience is along for the journey. Really enjoyed the central friendship with the two lead actors. ...

The Chosen One(s) was an amazing example of play and fun in theatre. With a well crafted campy tone and actors who were fully invested every step of the way, The Chosen One(s) is a show you shouldn’t miss! The use of creative props and design elements were engaging and well utilized throughout the entire production. My favorite being the shadow puppet scene (which was seamlessly transitioned into). Performances from the two main actors, and the ensemble of darkness, were completely present and invested in the world of the show, with line deliveries that will leave you cackling in your seat (or, for one lucky audience member, on stage). ...

I felt very wrapped up in the characters and story from the very start! Jack and Arthur's introductions did a great job of showing their character, then when they met up the tone of their funny and wild adventure was set. ...

I was thoroughly entertained by this creative, campy, high energy show that doesn’t take itself too seriously but clearly shows the seriousness taken by the writer to engage the audience, use props creatively, utilize the entire stage, and tackle tough topics using humor. The show plays on stereotypes - “the joke is on the cliches” - so you feel free to laugh even when uncomfortable. And laugh you will at these two “heroes” who try to save the world while also trying to kill each other. The audience laughed out loud a lot during this show and for obvious reasons. The puppet show is hilarious. The scene with the keyboard music is very funny too. There are movie references if you know what to look/listen for. Actors have great chemistry/energy...
