What I liked

I loved the honesty and heart Rheagan brings to her own history, our history. She tells a complex story about family, ambition, and the search for self with such raw and unflinching honesty, earning every single emotional moment. Having supervised countless rehearsals at home, I was most impressed by the transformation of the material into a living, breathing performance; the energy and emotional truth Rheagan imparted with the audience was something that has to be seen live to be believed. It’s a story that will stick with you long after you leave the theater.

What I didn't like

I only wish it could have been longer! I know of so many great stories that had to be cut purely for the sake of time….

My overall impression

As Rheagan’s husband, I went in thinking I knew exactly what to expect, but I was utterly unprepared for the power of this show in it’s live form. It’s an incredibly generous, brave, and masterfully told story that is both intensely personal and universally relatable. I was simply taken aback by the raw, profound emotion Rheagan channels on stage. It’s a poignant and ultimately uplifting exploration of a one-of-a-kind life that left me feeling immensely proud and genuinely privileged to have been in the audience and a part of producing and developing this show.
