What I liked
Strong premise and creative take on grief and relationships. I really love what Jennie created here. The use of the backstage and audience as a transition to a new space was really clever
What I didn't like
This is a large space and I couldn’t hear a couple of the actors at times. I feel like I missed several moments because I had no idea what was just said. I know near the end of the run, we’re all losing our voice: I wish there was a way to amplify them so we don’t miss anything.
My overall impression
Masterful approach at addressing death and grief, owning and calling out our flaws, and dealing with that inner voice/critic/friend, who we hold onto, can’t stand at times, and also can’t let go
