I enjoyed how Dina used the venue and the audience when appropriate. I also liked how she incorporated her different talents in a way that made sense to the overall story. In addition to being entertained, the audience gets a valuable snapshot of what life was like during a significant period of history.
What I didn't like
At times the story seemed to bounce around a bit, but they may have been necessary to dial in the complexities of life and time.
My overall impression
Dina’s show takes you on a journey of what life was like growing up in Russia during the collapse of the Soviet Union. Entertaining, educational, funny, and keeps you on your toes! Music, characters, even break dancing! (Yup, you heard that right)!
