My overall impression
“Family Values” by Dina is a moving and brilliant performance.
She sings, she plays piano, and she makes you laugh and tear up…sometimes at the same time. The show masterfully weaves humor and heartbreak, raising powerful questions about both happy and unhappy families. As a Russian, I deeply related. Dina’s vulnerability, wit, and talent shine throughout, and Alina Konon’s direction brings it all together with clarity and heart.
