What I liked

Also, don’t assume you can bring everything onboard. Alcohol policies depend on the yacht license, and food rules vary — some allow outside catering, some prefer you order through them. The crew is professional but not intrusive; still, it helps to communicate clearly what you want from the trip. I spent time browsing platforms like https://charterclick.com/ best yacht rental deals before booking, mostly to compare yacht sizes and read descriptions carefully, not just look at photos. Photos can be misleading.

What I didn't like

One more thing people don’t say enough: choose the yacht based on comfort, not just looks. A slightly older yacht with a good crew can feel way better than a flashy one where no one explains anything. Ask questions, even if they feel basic — it’s normal for first-timers.

My overall impression

I rented a yacht in Dubai last year for my birthday, and the biggest thing I learned is that the details matter more than you expect. First, always double-check what’s included in the price and what isn’t. For example, some rentals include fuel for a standard route, but if you decide mid-trip that you want to cruise longer or change direction, that can affect the final cost. Another thing is timing — yachts are very punctual here. If you arrive late, you usually don’t get that time back, even if it’s just 15 minutes.
