Woody’s commitment to the character of John Wick is superb, but nothing ever gets in the way of the fun. There’s multiple inspired staging moments to recreate the iconic action sequences of the franchise.
What I didn't like
We never see John get his new dog, which as we all know, is a crucial part of the Wick films – after the first dog dies, no animal ever gets hurt again.
My overall impression
A true celebration of the work of Keanu Charles Reeves. An action tour de force with fun, silly audience participation by an absolute master of comedy improvisation.
