What I liked

Woody Fu’s commitment to the bit is incredible—he transitions seamlessly between characters, mimics fight scenes with brilliant low-budget Infinite Craft flair, and somehow pulls off motorcycle chases and gunfights using just his voice and props. The script is razor-sharp, with clever nods to action clichés, Keanu’s public persona, and franchise absurdities. His impersonation of Keanu Reeves had the audience howling, and the DIY sound effects and physical comedy were impressively choreographed.

What I didn't like

A few transitions between scenes could be tightened to maintain momentum, particularly in the second half. Also, while the absurdist humor works well for most of the show, a few bits leaned a little too far into inside jokes that may be lost on non-action-movie buffs. Including a slightly broader appeal in those moments could make the piece even stronger.

My overall impression

Woody Fu’s One Man John Wick 2.0 is a masterclass in comedic solo performance. Equal parts parody, homage, and chaotic joyride, the show skillfully distills the high-octane energy of the John Wick franchise into an inventive one-man spectacle. Hilarious, smart, and absurd in all the right ways.
