Holy Holy: The Birth of Disco

What I liked

My favorite moment was the birth of the disco ball – it was both surprising and delightful because that’s when I had the aha moment of “that’s why it’s called the Birth of Disco” and then I laughed

What I didn't like

I felt like the opening could have taken more time. The show just kinda started, and didn’t allow the audience to sit in the world a bit with the performers – so maybe revisit the opening and how the performers connect with audience uptop in a way that feels not so rough. But I’m also not sure if that was the intent was for the show feel abrupt and to jump right in. Either way the rough start didn’t deter me away from the playfulness and delight that eventually ensued.

Incredibly playful, wonderful ensemble, and wildly entertaining
