What I liked
The freedom of play!! So special to see that many clowns gel together to make something as earnest and tender as this! Fave moment was everyone hopping on the pink pole, omg.
What I didn't like
I’d say shorter musical moments to get us back into the gray area of anticipation!
My overall impression
watching The Birth of Disco was such a surpassingly tender and poignant experience! These women are obviously hilarious and charming and could easily rob me blind, but really they curated a vibrational plane of possibility that made my eyes big with wonder and my mouth drop open with shock – all in under an hour
