I loved how each performer felt distinct, even when they’re all sort of doing the same thing all the time. You start to realize what each performer brings to the table, and then can rely on them to do their thing at all the perfect times. I really loved the demented sleepover aesthetics of it all too.
What I didn't like
I really wish this show didn’t make me want to be in a girl clown group so bad!!
My overall impression
Damn, this is so good! It’s so beautifully feminine in all the most unexpected ways that feel so deeply true. It’s absolutely absurd and yet I felt the story so viscerally, which is what I’m always hoping to feel with abstract art. And it’s hilarious! This show will inspire your inner child, inner artist, inner demon, or inner whatever that’s trying to get out.
