Such important story told in such an amazingly beautiful way. She captivates you from the opening and takes you on such and emotional ride thru song and archival footage. It really shows the pure love of a parent for her child and her child for her. Everyone needs to see this show.... full review

Rejyna's plight was so important to be shared, to understand and I was in my seat rooting for her! You can see her Mother's heart and also her connection to her mother as a strong nurturing theme. Having this understanding on how spouses can use legal abuse against those vulnerable is common, especially in communities without gender identity awareness and also during these times of backlash against trans rights. I was emotionally involved, saw and understood Rejyna's strong heart and spirit, plus determination despite the odds was so inspiring and moving! This show really drawed me in!... full review

This is a very important work, with a message that is so essential to our times. We are assaulted daily with misinformation and untruths, much of which is intended to scapegoat specific groups in order distract from the harm being done by the true perpetrators of injustice; the powerful who have turned our government into a tool for their own enrichment at the expense of the less powerful. Even though the story took place decades prior to the current turmoil, the telling of it could not happen at a more necessary moment, and its relevance to today's reality is undeniable.... full review

This piece is powerful, urgent, and deeply human. It goes far beyond a personal memoir and becomes a necessary act of witness. By blending lived experience, legal history, and creative performance, the work confronts long-standing biases against transgender parents while grounding the story in love, resilience, and survival. The emotional honesty and courage behind sharing this story publicly make it both moving and politically vital.... full review

The case of a trans mom facing the family court system highlights the deep tensions between evolving social understanding and long-standing legal frameworks. At the heart of such cases is not just identity, but the fundamental question of how courts define and protect a child’s best interests. When personal identity becomes part of a legal battle, emotions run high, and the system is tested on its ability to remain fair, informed, and compassionate.... full review
