My heart is still sitting in that theater space with Adedana… or perhaps it’s my Grief Baby reflecting on this tale. Either way this show was such a beautiful balm - expertly written and crafted and serenely staged. I felt cradled from start to finish going through this journey and felt so connected to each beat of this road trip. This is a tale not only for those who have Grief Babies, but those who are perfectionists looking for permission to be free to fail. It’s for those with wanderlust in their hearts who are just looking for a sense of place and purpose. It’s for all of us humans who constantly question every step we take down the path of life. And it was beautifully displayed.

This dynamic one-woman show lovingly encouraged me to more fully embrace my own grief, and examine and pray about my significant relationships so I can decide in advance how I want to grieve.
Though it’s centered on her relationship with her earthly/ biological father, their bond was so deep and profound, I couldn’t help but wonder how my heavenly father and holy mother see and delight in me. The guidance, the love, the proverbs, the indirect answers and responses; it was such a joy to witness. I’m grateful Adedana chooses to share her father’s legacy in this way.
And if you cry easy like I do? Pro tip: bring tissues....

This show cradles grief so lovingly. A quintessential road trip becomes something so much deeper in Adedana's hands. She generously allows us to join her in grieving her father and searching for herself while she looks for signs from him. I was blown away by this show. ...

Lovely and cosmic, human and oddly mellow look at love and grief. Oddly absurdist yet uplifting at the same time. I would love to see this adapted into a movie. ...

Adedana took us on her journey through the southwest to find or rather feel her father after his death. The show was funny, heartfelt, smart, emotional, and comforting especially if you too have a grief baby. ...
