What I liked

I loved the acting and casting choices. Having a 70yr old woman say she wants to die made the scenes alot more impactful. They even got an 8yr old kid (Ethan Wang) to play the grandchild. Having actors actually look their age made the whole thing believable. You can tell alotta love and effort went into this production and i was throughly impressed. I even started getting teary eyed at some of the emotional Parts. Which a testament to the writing and acting.

What I didn't like

Nothing. Definitely wanna see a full production of this.

My overall impression

A heartfelt gut punch to the soul to anyone who’s ever lost a loved one. This is a well acted / well written family drama about grief and moving on. I found myself enchanted by every actor in this play, especially the sister / brother and mother / father. Erik Hsu (the director) got the right people for the role
