What I liked
Stacie Burrows’ performance is incredibly personal and courageous. The combination of live storytelling with multimedia projections made the experience immersive. I loved the original songs — each one added emotional depth and carried the story forward naturally. The Southern Gothic atmosphere, especially the imagery of dive bars and graveyards, gave it a unique texture.
What I didn't like
There were moments where the transitions between songs and stories felt a little abrupt. Smoother pacing or brief visual cues might help ease the audience through emotional shifts. A few projections could also be clearer or better lit depending on the venue.
My overall impression
A raw, powerful solo performance that masterfully blends humor, heartbreak, and Speed Stars history . “No Good Drunk” is an unforgettable journey through generational trauma, wrapped in original music and storytelling. It’s honest, intense, and deeply human.
