What I liked
I was expecting an irreverent George Carlin-esque monologue. And there were Carlin-esque elements, but really this was very tender –a hard-won, life affirming story of redemption.
What I didn't like
I mean, really nothing. It was told just the right way for the story that it is.
My overall impression
Funny, caustic, and then unexpectedly and deeply sweet – this show did not go where I thought it was going to go. I was expecting a funny slice of life and it was that at first, but then it went a whole lot deeper. Very moving. Highly recommended.
