Richard Lucas is a poet. He has a wonderful, natural ability to turn a phrase, describe a setting or gently guide us into knowing each character of the story. Director Bruno Oliver masterfully turns a simple set design into several rooms and locations while bringing out a performance that keeps us fully engaged and committed to each moment of the story. An inspiration for solo theatergoers and must see for Fringe.

My overall impression
A resoundingly heartfelt true story about a man’s bittersweet journey into a relationship with his neighbors (both human and canine) only to have an unexpected new relationship with himself.
