What I liked
Richard has a delicious command of language. So many of his rhetorical devices are completely original and utterly hilarious. I now feel that I will certainly enjoy his book and plan on reading as soon as possible.

My overall impression
What a wonderful framework for a play. The protagonist is fantastic: dry, hilariously cantankerous, and with so much heart that you cannot help but root for him.
