What I liked
Easy to tell the transition between characters. There was enough context given for audience members who may not have known the stories of these women before coming to the show.
What I didn't like
I think there may have been some lighting cues that were missed or didn’t run at the right time? And when a baby was involved, I would lose track of which woman had a baby vs suffered a miscarriage vs their baby was killed. I’m not sure how to rectify that in staging, but something to look out for in future productions.
My overall impression
Beautiful one-woman portrayal of several women who were “blood brides” — women given over as wives to the men who murdered their former husbands.
