I love that every character in the show has their own arc, even though it’s primarily about Katherine and her husband. No moment is wasted or unnecessary. And the payoffs are so worth it by the end.

My overall impression
My first ensemble show of the season is one of the funnest I’ve experience. And so much of it is owed to the wonderful dialogue by Eberhardt. It’s obvious, and worth it, that she wrote this piece in part with the actors. Everyone on stage feels so comfortable in their characters and they play so well with each other. There are long moments where you can’t stop smiling. Every actors is grounded in their characters and you can really feel just how natural the dialogue is for them. At times you forget you’re watching a play, and not watching some friends hanging out.
