Every actor has at least one scene-stealing moment and I just think that’s neat.
“Endearing” is the main word I’d use to describe this cast, imperfect yet lovable each one of them. The timing is snappy, the pacing is propulsive, the gags are clever, and the heart at the center of the story is beating. If you need to enjoy yourself for an hour and bask in some warm fuzzy feelings, this’ll do the trick.
What I didn't like
okay but like how has Alice not gotten fired yet
My overall impression
It’s funny, it’s witty, it’s charming, it has an unexpected dark side… yeah, it’s a Pam show. A brief story about decent people who keep getting in their own way, A Perfectly Still Curveball is a mostly lighthearted experience that celebrates human connection and the ways it’s most important we show up for each other.
