What I liked

I like that even though it’s a heavy show, there was still lots of great comedic lines. It made you think, it made you feel, and it made you laugh. The cornerstones for a great new original play.

What I didn't like

I could see how this could be expanded and we could get more insight into some of the other characters in the friend group other than just the main storyline. Lots of potential for exploring this universe.

My overall impression

It’s like Friends meets This is Us in this clever, thoughtful new play about adulthood and the different challenges that come down the road. Blending silly and heartbreaking with a touch of throwback nostalgia, this show explores a group of friends and how they handle a particularly brutal curveball. This team always brings it with solid acting and insightful writing and of course, the comedic brilliance that is Lucas Alifano.
