Barbara Bragg delivers a fresh and unpredictable performance. Sometimes I saw Charlie Chaplin, sometimes Carol Burnett. I loved it- laughed throughout the one-hour show. And the serious moments landed like a ton of bricks. Wonderful direction, supporting cast members, production, and sound design. I want to bring my friends to the show before it closes....

I was looking to watch a play at the Fringe Festival this Friday. I wasn’t sure what to see, and I eventually found myself in front of the Dead Fat Corpse theater. I didn’t know what to expect, but I was hoping it would be worth the ticket—and sure enough, Barbara Lee Bragg did not disappoint.
She was funny, raw, and absolutely commanded the stage. Her comedy reminded me of a British sense of humor with a distinctly American flavor.
Show business needs more talent like Barbara—raw, authentic, and unapologetically true to themselves....

What a rollercoaster! Commend the vulnerability and rawness of Barbara. The story had me on the edge of my seat, wondering what was next and left me curious afterwards. Not to mention the juxtaposition of it all. Remarkable job of Catherine, wearing multiple hats throughout and fully supporting the storyline and embodying each character 100%! Bravo! ...

Funny, biting, and unexpectedly moving, Dead Fat Corpse is a play that sneaks up on you in the best way. Barbara’s journey through the brutal realities of Hollywood and body image is told with such unflinching honesty and tenderness that the laughs often catch in your throat.
A standout performance comes from Catherine, who brings jaw-dropping range to a series of sharply drawn roles: a caustic agent, a drunken call center rep, a hardened LAPD officer, a spiteful Facebook troll. Each one is distinct, layered, and fully lived-in. Her transformations are masterful and deeply human.
This is theater that makes you laugh, reflect, and feel seen. Highly recommend....

The show moved me and was written very well. The acting was deliberate and I found myself lost in the story of the characters. Barbara and Catherine both commanded the stage in the way that shows their dominance and skill as performers. ...
