What I liked
The funny comes out the gate quickly, in unexpected, silly, and surreal ways. And just when you think you’ve gotten the beat of it, it beautifully morphs into something you weren’t at all expecting. Just when your face gets tired from laughing, Dan Braswell takes us off-guard, expertly using all of the laughter as a beautifully touching foundation for a sincere and powerful dramatic turn. Bravo!
