What I liked

The direction, actors with clever fun choices and usage of a bringing a small space to life.

What I didn't like

With Fringe it’s probably limited on ability in the space due to rules and restrictions, but would love to see some more practical and special effects at times to really sell some of the moments—although the Magician stole those scenes anyway with clever timing and delivery.

My overall impression

This show is just as unexpected as its title in the best way. I wasn’t sure what I was walking into, but it turned out to be funny, creative, and full of surprises. The background animations added a dynamic layer that really brought the small black box stage to life. Each actor brought something totally unique to their role, and the direction kept things moving with great energy and clever choices. Whether you’re Jewish or not, you’ll laugh and have a great time.
