My overall impression
DECKHAND is a fast-paced, high volume comedy you do not want to miss. You will love to root for the timid assistant and love to hate this manchild of a boss.
If I had to be picky, I would say I wished there was a bit more variation in dynamics (in the musical sense. it was basically 40 minutes straight of yelling), and—Slight Spoiler—I wished I could identify the exact moment that the assistant turned, though I do recognize it happened in progression.
Overall, I absolutely ADORED this duo show—acting, writing, staging and all. One of my fringe favorites, I would gladly go see it again!
